Day 6

Because it is a holy day on Friday (holy Friday) we had breakfast at 8 o’clock. After the breakfast I went with Andre and Astrid to the great hall for a gathering, in which they read from the Bible and told a story. After the gathering, we had to get some groceries first before we could go back to the house, but once we were back I helped Astrid with cooking and baking. After lunch, we first had to put crosses on bread before I, Andre, Colin and Emer went cycling to Kells, a little village in which an old ruin stands of monniks. We bought close to the ruin something to eat and drink, and after we had visited the ruins we went back to the house. After supper I went with a few people from the community to Callan were some of the people would sing in a church. After the service was over and everybody left, we left as well, and once I was back in Monassa I almost immediately went to bed, because I was really exhausted.
